When I take my Yoga sessions, I ask almost all my learners to hang daily. There are many benefits of hanging, from as simple as spinal decompression to complex ones like helping in increasing lung capacity.
The challenge often is to create a hanging setup. You can buy or you can DIY, it is upto you. Here a few setups, including mine for your daily hanging needs.
Roof-Rope Setup
The purpose is to attach your hanging rod to a pipe
This is my setup, in which I have used a rope and attached it to the Iron Jaal at home
This is Learner Muskan’s setup. You can see she hangs from the iron rod, attached on the roof. Again sturdy setup.
Wall-Mounted Setup
In this setup, one usually screws the hanging apparatus on the wall
This is Learner Honey’s Setup. This is mounted on the wall and can be used if you are moe than 100kgs too
Vaccuum Setup
This is Learner Shraddha’s setup. This is the cheapest option available in the Indian Market. Pretty good for weights under 90kgs
